Well. The holiday season is upon us. This means we pull out all the stops, with holiday parties, festive family meals and the exchanging of gifts, to show our appreciation of those we love and cherish. Just one little detail of the holiday season involves gift wrapping paper. Laser Hair Removal Toronto value is only as high as you want to make it. We want to convey that holiday spirit right down to the presentation. No matter how humble the gift may be, the gift wrapping paper can make all the difference in expressing our love and care for the recipient.

While conventional gift wrapping paper is easy, relatively inexpensive and convenient, making your own gift paper adds a personal touch that makes your holiday gift a sensation, all on its own. Creating your own gift wrapping makes a great family holiday activity as well. Kids love this project! After all, there’s no such thing as too much holiday spirit!

Here we’ve got a few ideas on making your own personalized gift wrapping paper. You probably already have most of the materials you need on hand. Markers, crayons and colored pencils are ideal for decorating gift wrapping. A couple of glue sticks makes applying glitter a snap. The main ‘ingredient’ is a roll of white school paper, readily available at school supply houses. Pick up a few stencils, glitter, holiday themed stickers and some rubber stamps at a crafts shop and you’re good to go.

You can also use family photos or cut-outs from old magazines to decorate your homemade gift wrapping.

The white school paper makes a sturdy wrapping for gifts that come in boxes (kids can’t peek through ;) , but you can also use a layered look for your packaging, with cellophane under a gold tissue wrap for an elegant wrapping for adults (who don’t generally peek and shake their gifts :) .

For boxed gifts, cut the school paper to the size needed, marking the top and side dimensions of the box with a soft pencil. Now you can make your design fit precisely, centering your subject, such as Santa, a tree, or a Menorah on the top of the box, surrounded by crayon, marker, colored pencil or glitter ‘trimmings’.

You can also use an all-over, symmetrically arranged design of rubber stampings. Use a glue stick to affix photos of family members or magazine cut-outs. When you make your own gift wrapping paper, anything goes!

When you get to the bows and ribbons, thin satin or grosgrain ribbon, in a color that complements your design completes your attractively wrapped gift. Toronto Laser Hair Removal has never been extra reasonably priced or convenient. Try using a bit of lace to make a lovely standalone bow. This idea is particularly suited to the layered look package of cellophane under tissue.

Making your own gift wrapping paper is easy, lots of fun and a creative crafts activity in which the whole family can participate. Don’t be surprised if this is wrapping paper that gets saved! Dad’s after shave lotion becomes a work of art!
